Lanzarote received 10% more visitors in January than last year

During the month of January, up to 162,452 tourists visited Lanzarote, 10.1% over the same month in 2011, when it recorded the arrival of 147,528 visitors.

Tourists from the United Kingdom are still the largest group, with 59,514 in January 2012, followed by the German market, with 20,875 in the same month.

It is also noted the significant increase experienced by other emerging markets such as French (1,847), Italian (3,911) and Polish (2,600).
