Videos of Lanzarote - La isla de Lanzarote

At the north side one can find the tourist spots of the "Mirador del Río" viewpoint, the "Jameos del Agua" and La "Cueva de Los Verdes", not to mention the charming villages and the white sand beaches with crystal water at Orzola. Back to the center, you may visit the "Cacti garden", created by the international artist César Manrique.

In the center of the island, the "Museum of Contemporary Art" in Arrecife and the "Monumento al Campesino" in San Bartolomé are some of the most interesting places to visit.

And finally in the south, the "Timanfaya National Park", El Golfo, Playa Blanca and Papagayo are a must to see.

Lanzarote, called 'Conejera' by the islanders, is also known as the island of 100 volcanoes. It is the most eastern island of the Canarian archipelago and it is situated very close to the African coast and north of Fuerteventura. The average temperature is 24 celsius degrees in August and 17 in January. The sea temperature varies between 17 and 24 celsius degrees at the surface. The sun shines for many hours throughout the year, which allows sun worshippers to enjoy the long white-sand beaches and clear waters all year long.

The Montaņas del Fuego flooded the island with lava forming landscapes as attractive as that of Los Jameos del Agua or La Cueva de los Verdes. Volcanic landscapes, clouds in constant movement, light and wind, white houses, singular architecture produced by the international artist, Cesar Manrique, crystal-clear waters, beaches of golden sand... All this is characteristic of Lanzarote. Come and discover it for yourself!
