Taxi to PDC will cost you about 30-35euros each way. There are plenty of cabs on the island, you will not get stranded don't worry.

Hi

Just got back from Playa Blanca - while we were there we asked a taxi driver how much and he quoted €27 each way. We managed to get a trip to Puerto del carmen on the evening with First Choice who we booked through for €9 each - we were dropped off in PDC at about 8.30 (either old town or new town depending on what sort of night you wanted) and collected at 1am. This was great value compared with the taxi fair each way.

There are bus services that run during the day but think they finish quite early to come back (eg about 5).

Hope this helps.

Can I suggest that you try the Mini Bus Service ,you will not have to queue for a taxi ,be meet at the airport and collected on departure. The cost is very reasonable and we have used the service in the past.

Remember that Playa Blanca although not jumping with nightlife has some great places to go.
try The Kings Head pub on the sea front, great bands freindly staff good place to people watch. The restuarants in Playa Blanca are many and varied. Only thing I missed was an Indian restaurant,- great business opportunity for someone.
Have a great holiday in a great place
