does anyone know the quickest internet speed available
through telefonica in lanzarote

If you ask Elle she'll tell you, I think it's about four months to install the connection, three more months to turn it on and several more months for them to enable the accaount

But don't ask her abour Correos, cos that's quite slow!!

LOL Flash - it's worse than that! Still waiting since July... and they won't give us a date either.

Alan - the fastest I've heard of on the Island is 7MB. Telefonica happily promise 3MB. The most we had before was 1MB. But I have seen 3MB in action in a few places - so it's not a myth.

Where we are now, we can't get Telefonica... so I have a USB dongle from Vodafone... which is okayish.

i have broadband already
(though connection problems , going on and off are regular)
but 7mb is quite fast, so thats quite good news
now my internet will pack in but at a much better speed

Since I replied before... Telefonica have come up trumps. We're getting 3MB now. Apparently people who are upgrading to the 6MB are getting that... so we'll be doing the same shortly.

Still waiting for our first bill... but going by past experience... it's around the same as you're paying.

But have a look at www.telefonicaonline.es and that should give the current exact pricing for you hon.
