The bars will be busy but you don't have to book everywhere, you should be able to have a wonder around and find a place to eat without to much of a problem.

most things are open as normal xmas day. In Lanzarote it's only us Brits that celebrate xmas on the 25th, the Spanish do this on the 6th Jan (Epiphany)

Yes I wonder how you knew that! used to go watch the gallant youths(Batley RLFC) when I was a lad many moons ago, party of 13 flying out trying to organise some kind of dinner once we get there, worried that been such a large group may struggle to get in anywhere without pre-booking, went boxing day last year had a brilliant time despite weather not been too cracking.

The Columbus Bar is situated at the bottom of Calle Anzuelo which is just on the bend in the road as you enter the main strip of PDC coming from the casino end.

There is a supermarket called Dos Mil opposite - this has a little cafe outside.

I have been to the Columbus Bar many times and can 100% agree that the food is not only excellent in taste but excellent value for money.

Goin to PDC for Xmas and will defo be calling in here.

:-)
