Is it expensive to eat & drink in PB?

Hi there

We are off to PB in a few weeks and wondered the average cost of a meal out and the cost of drinks in PB. We are on a bit of a budget and wanted to be prepared. We enjoy tapas, fresh fish and Chinese food. Whilst we cannot afford to dine at the best restaurants every night, we will not want to be eating fast food!

Hubby and I both happy to drink local larger - do they make anything locally or is it all imported? We also enjoy red wine can anyone recommend a bottle of anything nice we might find on the Island?

Thanks for your help.

Chellie

Its a fair point Dave!!

Unless someone gives a little more info then its hard to be specific!!

One persons cheap night out is anothers birthday celebration!

But yes you can have a meal for two costing £30 whcih would be "worth" £50 in the UK.

Thanks guys, it sounds cheaper than the UK so we'll be fine. For some reason I was expecting it to be more expensive or comparative to the UK since the Euro came along.

Oz, I particularly enjoy Sangre de Torro too (especially the one with the little plastic bulls on LOL) and hubby will be pleased about the 5.4% larger.

Thanks for the restaurant tips, we have a very lively two year old so exactly how much time we will be able to spend relaxing over dinner remains to be seen!
