Anyone know what the current airport security situation is like, i'm travelling from Manchester Airport to Lanzarote in August and i'm pretty worried, like, i don't know what is allowed for hand luggage or anything!!

If in doubt contact whoever you bought your flights/package from and also the airport you are flying from.

Wow...never heard of pre booking excess baggage. Certainly seems a LOT cheaper and if that's the case.............shopping hear I come!!!!

I'm flying Monarch I'm afraid but they do have 10 kilos hand luggage so that's a help

God i was traveling from lanza to Scotland on 15Th jan and got charged 63 euro.. its 7 euro per kilo, thats pretty steep if u ask me. that was between the 2 of us

haha aye am there 4 a week an craving irn bru... i managed to get a 2 bottle in Jan tho ...result lol. im trying to get a cheap flight for the 1st of April so far all iv seen the prices r madness

So do I - and I have size 11s and last time took 4 pairs of blokes leather boots with shoe trees in. Closest I've ever got to limit!
