What to See/Do

Okay, got advice on what to pack -- ty. Now I want to know what we must see or do while we are in Lanzarotte. Coming second week of November, staying at Playa Blanca for a week, and have a car. Got a suggestion for lunch at Timanfaya, but that's all so far. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

PB is all about relaxing and winding down, so don't try and cram in too much.
If you have small children, Rancho Texus just outside Puerto del Carmen is worth
a visit. We have owned now in PB for 15 years and visit at least three times a year. We never tirer of a Sunday car ride over the vineyard area via Uga to end
up at the Sunday market in Tequise. I go straight to the market square to enjoy
the live music and people watch and simply wait for Mrs to collect me when she
has finished wandering the stalls. Doesn't matter that the stalls are almost always the same she has seen every visit. We then head towards Haria and have
something to eat in Arrieta or Orzola. If there is time on the way back call in
at the Cactus Garden near Mala. Sounds boring but is worth a visit. This is a
really nice day out. Now put the car away and relax. Have a nice holiday.

Take a trip to Puerto Calero & meander around the marina, have a drink or a bite to eat & watch the world go by! It is a beautiful place, and whilst there visit the Cretacean Museum

Enjoy! smiling smiley

dixie d,

There are a couple of little taps bars in Gines de Castro...little side street running off the main shopping street at the sea end (by taxi rank and little cafe)
