Forum about Lanzarote

Agree completely with Mike. I didn't read Bawbee (LV1/Luxury Villas) weather strand more than once or twice, but thought it was harmless and no doubt of interest to some people (like Mike's client). And sure his signature was a link to his site, but is that some major deal? Mike (to use just one example) doesn't have a link to his site on his Gazette Live postings, but his user name (there and here) is "Estupendo Mike" making him very easy to find, if you're so inclined. Surely a plus?

The response to the Weather postings was unecessarily vicious, with people (all hiding under, usernames, of course and possibly with some sort of axe to grind) piling in. This sort of "troll" activity does no-one any good and (as Mike relates) paints a negative picture. Most posters on the main Lanzarote boards are helpful, pleasant people. But there are some pillocks around, who seem to take pleasure in being unpleasant.
