i'm goin to these apts from the 6th of july to the 21st of july, their is 4 lads from newcastle goin.

Can anyone tell me if their is a laundrette or washing machine near by, also, will they wash our clothes for us, cause we are lads and don't know how to do it cause its a womens job!!!! We aren't bent, just dont want to go out in dirty clothes!!

What a bunch of lazy so and so's you lot are ;0) NO they wont wash ya clothes for ya! and its not just a women's job you know D just rinse them in the sink if need be, like the rest of us do!!! (washing line is supplied at Parque Tropical!!!)

In relation to your question re laundrette/washing machine, i have to be honest and say I cant actually remember seeing any at all around the Parque Tropical area or along the strip, you may wanna open another thread on this question and see if anyone else can help ya!

The almighty clammer is no fry, but he is a clammer as the name suggests! he clams! he is also brownie as fook! craigken2003 is a flithy pikey so i dunno why he wants clean clothes on his dirty skin! my hollibob begins in about 171 and a half hours...boy that like! im excited and i have a stippy

Im no pikey, but i do like the odd piece of string. So who is gonna be at the Parque Tropical at any point in the 2 weeks from july 6th?? lads / lasses, ages, from where etc?? no idea about the air con or fans but i dont think it does but apparently you can buy a fan pretty cheap so it might be worth doing that. approx 230 hours to go now!! cant wait! its stippy time!

Just to let you know, there isnt any air con in the apartments at Parque Tropical, you can rent a fan from reception but these do tend to go rather quickly so it may be worth just buying one as the are cheap over there like you said.

Does the parque tropical bar stay open until you leave, or does it have proper opening/closing times??????

I know sooooo much as i have a friend who lives and works over there and has done for the last 4 years!! As she shares her apartment with 3 others we always stay somewhere else which is usually Parque Tropical, Elena, or Plaza Palmeras as they all all nearby and close to everything!! me and my best mate will be just up the road at Plaza Palmeras when you lot are at Parque Tropical as going over from the 13th till 21st July. We have loads of friends over there now so if you want any more info on anything just ask ;0)

In answer to your question re the bar, there is a pool bar which is normally open from about 9am till 8pm (happy hour between 5 & 6pm - or there was last year still!) There is a bar within the onsite restuarant too, we hardly ever go in there but i would imagine its open till about 10/11pm it did seem pretty quiet though so your best bet is to drink in the apartment and then hit the bars along the strip from about 10pm!

Like a said in previous post i have a friend who lives and works out there so me and my mates normally go over to PDC twice or three times a year to see her and to chill (or should that be have a ball!!! )

We are from Docklands area of London and this time its only myself and my best mate going out, we are both in are late twenties. where are you lot flying from and what airline?

What a holiday! we got bak early this morning (thursday) but im absolutely gutted to be home! despite being the drunkest man in the canaries the whole time, it was absolutely class from start to finish! parque tropical was spot on - tony, dave and frida behind the pool bar were class people who really made our holiday (congratulate dave for chucking craig in the pool!!), and it was a great night out! weather was a bit too hot (not that i saw much of it) but i just wish i was back there! next year defo!

Well I had the drinks ready but i didnt know where 2 find ya! or even if i saw ya when i was there!! we were the drunken geordies in apt 33a!!

club 928 was ok, nothing flash tho!! personally i liked paradise coz i got plenty of free shots offf the bar girls in there! but i had an absolutely amazing time out there and im already thinking about going back there for a week in october if funds allow, but definitely a fortnight next year out there! im even considering trying for work next year depending on my home circumstances i loved the place that much!

nevermind, depression is beginning to fade slightly now (not much tho lol) and i suppose its back to usual hum-drum life of working thru the week and gettin pi$$ed at the weekend!
